Visitax: what do you need to pay it? 

Payment of the visitax can be made before you arrive in the country, during your stay or at the port when you are about to leave the country. However, it is advisable to do so before your arrival or during your stay to avoid long and annoying queues. Payment can be made either online or at the ports.

Online payment can be made with a credit card or via PayPal. It is up to you to follow the instructions to make the payment. For payment at the ports, you will need your port pass, a valid email. Then you can also pay there in cash or with your credit card. 

Please note that the payment of the visitax is imposed on all foreign visitors who are at least 5 years old. The payment must be made before you leave the state of Quintana Roo.
